WL250 Wheel Loader: Compact and powerfulThe WL250 wheel loader has an overall lower height and compact dimensions. As a result, the machine can pass through clearance heights of below 78.74 in without the need to fold down the operator's canopy. The machine’s low center of gravity ensures very good stability and allows the handling of heavy loads. The wheel hub drive also includes the powerful and efficient drive concept, with which all four wheels are directly driven. This purely hydraulic wheel hub drive ensures an increase in efficiency, excellent acceleration, and therefore enables a responsive driving behavior as well as high thrust power.

Powerful wheel hub drive- With this drive concept, 4 wheel hub motors are mounted directly on the wheels. This means that each wheel has its own motor, which directly drives the respective wheel.
- The wheel hub motors are driven directly by the travel hydraulic pump, eliminating mechanical losses. The wheel hub motors are also protected against pressure peaks by a high-pressure safeguard. An anti-cavitation valve between the wheel hub motors optimizes the oil supply when cornering.
- This drive system is beneficial for machines up to a 6.614 lb operating weight. As a result of the purely hydraulic drive system, there is no loss of performance through axles or transmission. The wheel hub drive furthermore enables high pushing power, excellent acceleration, and responsive driving behavior.
- The lower operator seat position makes a lower construction height of the machine possible. As a result, low passageways of under 78.7 in can be passed without any effort and with a fixed operator's canopy or cabin.
- Additional advantages of the low design include a machine center of gravity close to the ground for greater stability and easy machine entry.
